I used to drive this 1992 Isuzu Trooper that we bought new and became a hand-me-down. I drove that thing everywhere and got in more than a few accidents (backing into a Nissan Altima at 15 mph, hitting a park bench with all 4 wheels locked up driving on the grass through a park and getting rear-ended by a Saab to name a few). With 180,000 miles and the most pathetic compression #s it was no longer safe to drive above 50mph as it did not have power and would shake violently. So my dad said lets get you a new car, I figured hey I'm down. It was between the Mini and a new Altima 3.5, I test drove both and ended up with this as it seemed a lot more fun and I don't really need anymore room. It's very similar to a BMW in fit/finish and the controls have a very high quality feel to them, my only complaint is that the recommended service intervals are 10,000 miles which is abosolute horse shit, no way I'm going to 10,000 miles on the same oil.
